Monterey Square Wine and Arts Fair

Children are absolutely welcome at the wine fair, no serving beer or wine, of course but there’s lots to see and do. If you come early, be sure to check out SPOT trot at Riverfront Park beginning at 8:30 am or head over to the gathering in front of the Wharton County library on Fulton Street beginning at 12 pm, for the Bike Safety and helmet give-away which will begin at 12:30 pm followed by a family friendly walk/ride to wine fair using pop up bike safety lane along Fulton Street. Then take a tour of the historic courthouse or hop the shuttle for a trip to view historic properties around the town – shuttle is free to wine fair ticket holders and children under 18, $5 otherwise.
