My professional musical journey began in high school where I was playing tenor sax in a 13-piece “big band” (before R&R). In college I moved onto electric guitar and vocals (primarily folk songs) in nightclubs and at parties. After graduating from college with a degree in chemistry, I continued to play gigs whenever possible. Being a chemist, I’ve always used playing music as a counter balance to a 43 year career of structure and science. Now retired, my musical goal is to present ‘music that you know’ older songs that have endured and newer songs that will endure over time.
