The 2026 Texas Vintners Cup Competition is actively seeking wineries to enter their Texas wines for consideration. Now in its sixth year, the Texas Vintners Cup is a key event for Texas wineries following achievements of the state’s wine industry in early 2026, including successes at the Houston Rodeo and San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. This competition aims to select the 12 best wines in the state of Texas. Texas wineries can submit their wines at the link below.

The GO TEXAN Expo is a 4-day wholesale and retail buyer focused show, June 24-27, for all types of food, health and beauty, home, textile product businesses and more! This event will provide a unique, one-day private pitch opportunity for GO TEXAN Partners to present their products directly to mid-sized and large-scale GO TEXAN buyers and retailers for consideration of placement on retail shelves. This gives Texas wineries the opportunity to sell their wines to wholesale buyers during the Expo and during the private pitch opportunity.

The GO TEXAN Preview Night at the Texas State Fair GO TEXAN Pavilion brings together the best in Texas from food to wine. During the GO TEXAN Preview Night, attendees can expect an evening of Texas items to sample including the winning wines of the 2026 Texas Vintners Cup Competition.

The TEXSOM Conference is one of the leading wine education and sommelier conferences in the U.S., bringing together beverage professionals, sommeliers, winemakers, educators, and industry leaders for seminars, tastings, certification opportunities, and networking. Founded in 2005 as the Texas Sommelier Conference, it is now an international event typically held in the Dallas–Irving area each August.

Visit the GO TEXAN Pavilion at the State Fair of Texas to sample the “Best in Texas” with the 12 winning wines of the Texas Vintners Cup, a competition of the Texas Department of Agriculture and Uncork Texas Wines.
