VINTNER – and son DORADO DELGADO
11 years in the wine industry, 14 harvests funny how that works. Started my career by aiding the establishment of Bonita Flats Farm and Vineyard. The building process developed my passion for winemaking, learning through trial and error with my father. I followed this passion to Texas A&M University and graduated in 2023.
Attending Texas A&M gifted me so many opportunities to expand into the wine industry, allowing me to do viticulture research, write AVA petitions, and readied me to work numerous positions in the wine industry. These days I work full time as the winemaker at Bonita flats and travel for cellar contracts abroad during the offseason.
